What we believe about learning

Why a strong foundation matters

The habits and fundamentals children build in elementary school shape their confidence for years to come. When foundational concepts are solid, future learning feels natural rather than intimidating.

Why practice matters

Understanding an idea once is not the same as owning it. Returning to a skill with deliberate practice helps knowledge stick and makes core mechanics second nature.

Why paper, not a screen

A physical page has nothing to tap, swipe, or distract. Holding a pencil and writing by hand engages muscle memory, invites thoughtful pacing, and creates a calm, focused environment.

Why curiosity matters

Learning should never be reduced to rote drills. We design practice to keep the door wide open to asking why things work, nurturing children's natural wonder alongside core academics.

About the founders

Priya Agrawal & Ashish Singhal

Practice Buds is built by Priya Agrawal and Ashish Singhal, both parents and both shaped by a strong foundation in the fundamentals. Priya graduated as a gold medalist from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. Ashish studied at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.

Both believe a strong early foundation shapes far more than a single school year, and that belief is what Practice Buds is built around.
