Terms of Use

These terms govern your access to and use of the PracticeBuds website (the "Site"), operated by IDEARIO MAXIV VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN: U85500HR2026PTC151977), a private limited company incorporated in India, with its registered office at House No. 499, Sector 31, Gurgaon, Haryana 122001, India ("PracticeBuds", "we", "us").

By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who may use PracticeBuds

You must be 18 or older to use the Site. PracticeBuds is for parents, guardians, tutors and teachers who select and print material for children. Children may use worksheets you print for them, but should not use the Site themselves without adult supervision.

By using the Site you confirm that you are 18 or over and are not barred from using it under any applicable law.

2. What PracticeBuds provides

PracticeBuds provides printable practice worksheets and answer keys. You can preview a worksheet without an account. Downloading and printing requires a free account, and comes in two tiers described on our Membership page:

  • Free. Available to anyone with an account, at no cost. Free accounts can download a limited number of worksheets. Current limits are shown at the point of download and may change from time to time.
  • Premium. A paid membership that unlocks the access described on the Membership page at the time you sign up. We may offer a free trial of Premium to new members from time to time; see Section 8.

3. Educational use

  • PracticeBuds is supplementary practice material. It is not a curriculum, an assessment, a diagnostic tool, or a substitute for teaching, tutoring, or professional educational, psychological or medical advice.
  • Worksheets are generated by software. We test our work carefully, but we do not promise that every worksheet is free from error, typo or ambiguity.
  • You are responsible for checking a worksheet before giving it to a child, to make sure it suits their age, skill level and needs.

4. Your license to use our worksheets

Your rights to print, copy and share PracticeBuds material are set out in our Copyright, License & DMCA Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: print freely for your own family, classroom or tutoring students. Do not resell, republish or post our material publicly, or use it to build a competing product.

5. Things you agree not to do

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, bulk-download or systematically copy any part of the Site or its content by automated means
  • Use the Site's content to train, test or feed any machine learning or artificial intelligence system without our written permission
  • Place unreasonable load on the Site, or get around any security, rate-limit or access control
  • Reverse engineer or try to obtain the source code of any part of the Site
  • Present our content as your own or as anyone else's, or remove any copyright notice, logo or attribution
  • Upload or send anything unlawful, infringing, malicious or harmful
  • Impersonate anyone or misstate your affiliation with any organization
  • Enter personal information about a child anywhere on the Site
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose

We may limit, restrict or block access if we reasonably believe this section is being breached.

6. Intellectual property

The Site and everything on it, including worksheets, answer keys, software, design, illustrations, text and the PracticeBuds name and logo, is owned by us or licensed to us and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Except for the license in our Copyright policy, all rights are reserved. Nothing on the Site gives you a license to any trademark.

Third-party names mentioned on the Site belong to their owners.

7. Accounts

An account is required to download or print a worksheet. You create one by signing in with Google.

  • You confirm you are 18 or over when you sign in. A false confirmation breaches these terms, and we may close the account.
  • You are responsible for the information you give us, for keeping your sign-in secure, and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at contact@practicebuds.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
  • Accounts are personal. Do not share or transfer yours.
  • Do not create an account for a child, and do not enter a child's personal information anywhere.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
  • You may delete your account at any time from within the product. This removes your records as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund of any amount already paid; see Section 8.

8. Membership, billing and payment

8.1 Free trial

We may offer new members a free trial of Premium from time to time. The length and conditions are shown before you start it. A trial is limited to one per person. We may withdraw or change the trial offer at any time without affecting a trial already in progress.

8.2 Paid membership

Premium can be bought for 30 days or 1 year at the price shown at checkout. Each payment is a single purchase. Your membership does not renew by itself, and you are not charged again unless you choose to pay again. Buying again before your access ends adds the new period to the end of the time you have left. When a trial or paid period ends, your account goes back to Free access. Our Refund Policy explains how refunds work.

If we change our prices, the new price applies to periods you buy after the change. A period you have already paid for is not affected.

8.3 Payment processing

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, not by us. Customers in India are billed through Razorpay. Customers elsewhere are billed through Paddle, which sells memberships to you as our reseller and handles payment and sales tax. We never see or store your card number or other full payment details. Those are handled by the processor, under its own terms. We keep only the transaction and membership records needed to run your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8.4 Refunds

All payments are generally non-refundable. However, if you experience an issue with your purchase or believe there are exceptional circumstances that warrant a refund, please reach out to us at contact@practicebuds.com.

We review every request individually and consider each case on its merits. While refunds are not guaranteed, we're happy to look into genuine concerns and do our best to help. Nothing here limits any refund right the law gives you. Our Refund Policy explains how to ask and how refunds are paid.

8.5 Complimentary and promotional access

We may give free or discounted access to specific people or groups, such as teachers or partners, on terms we share at the time. This does not entitle anyone else to the same terms.

9. Service changes and availability

We aim to keep the Site reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of the Site without notice. We are not liable if the Site is unavailable at any time.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ALL WORKSHEETS, GENERATORS, CONTENT AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, VIRUS-FREE OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECT WILL BE CORRECTED.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL IDEARIO MAXIV VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SITE OR ANY WORKSHEET, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES; IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless IDEARIO MAXIV VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED and its directors, officers and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Site.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

  • Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
  • Jurisdiction. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.
  • Informal resolution. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by emailing contact@practicebuds.com. If it is not resolved within 30 days, either party may bring a formal proceeding.

14. General provisions

  • Severability. If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • Waiver. Not enforcing a right or provision is not a waiver of it.
  • Entire agreement. These terms, with the Privacy Policy, Children's Privacy Notice, Refund Policy and Copyright Policy, are the whole agreement between us regarding the Site.
  • Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these terms without restriction.
  • Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new date here, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
