Copyright, Licence & DMCA Policy

PracticeBuds is operated by Root and Rise Enterprises, a sole proprietorship registered in India at House No. 499, Sector 31, Gurgaon, Haryana 122001, India ("PracticeBuds", "we", "us").

This policy sets out who owns the material on PracticeBuds, what you are permitted to do with our worksheets, and how copyright owners can submit DMCA takedown notices.

1. Copyright ownership

The PracticeBuds website, algorithmically generated printable worksheets, answer keys, generator source code, layout, typography, illustrations, taxonomy, brand name, and logo are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

All rights in the Site and its contents are owned by Root and Rise Enterprises or its licensors, except for the explicit non-exclusive licence granted below.

2. Permitted use (Your printing licence)

We grant parents, guardians, tutors, homeschooling families, and school teachers a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:

  • Generate, download, and print worksheets and answer keys from PracticeBuds.
  • Make physical paper copies of printed worksheets for use by your own children, tutoring students, or classroom students.
  • Distribute physical copies directly to your students or children for educational, non-commercial practice.

Restrictions

Under this licence, you may not:

  • Resell, rent, lease, or charge any fee for accessing or receiving our worksheets (whether in physical paper or digital format).
  • Republish, host, upload, or redistribute PracticeBuds worksheets or PDFs on any public website, forum, shared drive, file-sharing service, social media platform, or online marketplace.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notice, logo, footer attribution (practicebuds.com), or seed identifier on printed materials.
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download worksheets or generator code.
  • Use our materials, taxonomy, or generated output to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models, or to build a competing product or service.

3. DMCA & Copyright Takedown Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content hosted on PracticeBuds infringes your copyright, you (or your authorized agent) may submit a copyright notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or applicable Indian copyright laws.

Submitting a Takedown Notice

To be effective, your notification must be in writing and sent to rootandrise.hq@gmail.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice", containing the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered.
  2. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, with sufficiently precise URL(s) or details to enable us to locate it.
  3. Your contact information, including your name, physical address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will act promptly to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and notify the user or contributor where applicable.
