PracticeBuds is operated by IDEARIO MAXIV VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN: U85500HR2026PTC151977), a private limited company incorporated in India, with its registered office at House No. 499, Sector 31, Gurgaon, Haryana 122001, India ("PracticeBuds", "we", "us").
This policy explains what happens to information when you use PracticeBuds. If anything is unclear, email contact@practicebuds.com and we will answer in plain language. By using the site, you agree to this policy.
1. Who PracticeBuds is for
PracticeBuds is for adults: parents, guardians, tutors and teachers who print worksheets for children. Children cannot create accounts, and the site has no games, chat or uploads. Worksheets are completed on paper, so nothing a child writes is ever known to us.
2. What we collect
Account information. You can browse and preview without an account. To download or print a worksheet, you sign in with Google. We store your email address, a record of your confirmation that you are 18 or over, and the terms version you agreed to. We do not ask for your name, profile photo, contacts or date of birth.
Your activity in your account. The worksheets you download, and your membership and free-trial status.
Payment records. If you buy a membership, payment is handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your card number, UPI ID or other payment details. We keep only a transaction reference, amount, date and status.
Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write, and we use it to reply.
Automatic information. Like most websites, we and our service providers receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the time of your visit.
On your device. The grade level you pick is saved in your own browser and is not sent to us.
We do not collect information about children. Please do not send us a child's name, age, school or other details.
3. How we use information
- To run your account and membership, and let you download and re-download worksheets
- To process payments and keep the financial and tax records the law requires
- To reply to you and provide support
- To keep the site secure and prevent misuse
- To understand which subjects and worksheets are used so we can improve the site
- To send you updates about PracticeBuds, such as new worksheets and offers, if you have an account or have given us your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technology to keep the site working, remember your choices, and count visits. These include a cookie that stores your cookie preference and analytics cookies from Google Analytics that help us count visits and see which pages are used. We use analytics in a limited way and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
When you first visit, you can accept or reject analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie preferences link in the footer. Rejecting analytics does not stop you from browsing or printing. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
5. Advertising
We do not show advertising on PracticeBuds today. We may do so in the future, including through Google's advertising services, which can use cookies to show and measure ads. If we do, we will update this policy first, and any advertising cookies will follow the cookie choices described in Section 4.
6. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.
We share information only with service providers who help us run PracticeBuds, and only as needed for that job. These include providers of website hosting, our database, Google (sign-in and analytics), and our payment processors (Razorpay for customers billed in India, Paddle for everyone else). They may only use the information to provide their service to us.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, to prevent fraud, or if the business is sold or reorganized, in which case we will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
We may publish statistics that cannot identify you, such as which topic was printed most in a month.
7. Where information is kept, and for how long
PracticeBuds is operated from India, and our database is hosted in India. Some of our providers, such as hosting and analytics, are based in the United States, so information about you may be processed outside India.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons above. Account information, download history and membership records are kept until you delete your account, and are then removed within 30 days. Billing and transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Analytics data is deleted automatically after a limited period.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encryption when it travels to and from the site. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
9. Children
PracticeBuds is directed to adults and does not knowingly collect information from children, whether or not you have an account or a paid membership. See our Children's Privacy Notice for details and how a parent can contact us.
10. Links to other sites
We may link to other websites. We do not control them, and this policy does not apply to them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will post the new date here and a notice on the site. A change applies to information collected after it takes effect, unless you agree otherwise.
