Children's Privacy Notice
Effective date: 23 October 2026 Last updated: 23 October 2026
PracticeBuds exists so a parent or teacher can print good practice material for a child. We have built it to collect nothing about children.
PracticeBuds is operated by IDEARIO MAXIV VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN: U85500HR2026PTC151977), a private limited company incorporated in India, with its registered office at House No. 499, Sector 31, Gurgaon, Haryana 122001, India.
This notice explains our approach under the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and similar laws elsewhere. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. Built for adults
PracticeBuds is for parents, guardians, tutors, homeschoolers and teachers. Adults choose the skills, preview worksheets and print them. Children use the printed worksheets on paper, away from screens.
- Accounts are for adults only. Signing in requires confirming you are 18 or over, using your own Google account. We do not create accounts for children.
- The site has no chat, comments, profiles, uploads, games or social features.
- There is no place on the site to enter a child's name, age, birthdate, school or progress.
- We do not direct advertising at children, and we do not use information about children for advertising. If we introduce advertising in future, we will update our policies first and follow the consent rules that apply.
2. What we collect
Only information about the adult: the details described in our Privacy Policy, such as the email address used to sign in, download history, membership status and basic website analytics. None of it identifies or concerns a child.
We do not collect children's names, contact details, photos, audio, video, location, or any record of what a child writes or how they do. Worksheets are completed on paper, so we have no way to know.
3. COPPA and India's DPDP Act
Under COPPA, a child is anyone under 13. Under India's DPDP Act, a child is anyone under 18. We apply the stricter standard.
United States (COPPA). PracticeBuds is directed to parents and teachers, not children, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our website analytics counts overall visits and is used for running and improving the site, not for tracking or profiling any individual.
India (DPDP Act, 2023). The Act does not allow processing that is likely to harm a child's well-being, or tracking, behavioral monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children. We do none of these. We have no way to track a child's learning, mistakes, device use or online activity, and we do not process children's personal data.
4. Parents' and guardians' rights
If you believe your child has given personal information to PracticeBuds, you can ask us to show you what was collected (if anything), delete it, and stop any further collection or use.
Email contact@practicebuds.com with the subject line "Children's Privacy Request" and tell us roughly what was submitted and when. We will check that you are the child's parent or guardian, act on your request, and confirm when it is done. There is no charge.
5. Schools and teachers
PracticeBuds is offered to individual adults. We do not receive student records, and no student data reaches us. Teachers may print worksheets for their classes under our standard terms.
