What this skill is
Common nouns name general, non-specific people, places, things, or ideas (teacher, city, dog) and remain lowercase. Proper nouns name specific, individual people, places, organizations, or geographical features (Mrs. Smith, Chicago, Rex) and must always begin with capital letters.
